Check him out!
Baptism
Noah got baptized last Saturday. It was a great day, we are so proud of him. We were able to have nearly all of Jason's family down and almost all of mine as well. Noah is just a kid who is always trying to do the right thing. We feel so blessed with his spirit in our family. As a mom I am always so grateful
for the anchor of the gospel in our family life. In the talk my dad gave he told Noah that baptism was like a door that has to be opened in order for us to go through the doorway to live with our Heavenly Father. We are so glad to have Noah through that first door. When I was helping Noah write his feelings in his new baptism journal this is what he had to say: "Even
though the water in the font was very cold, I had a really warm feeling in
my heart."

Hairy
Today while we were riding in the car Addie says, "Mom I am growing into a dad, see."
I look back and he is showing me that some hair is growing on his legs. It's funny because he's told me before that Daddy's legs are really hairy. I guess that is the measure of a true dad.

ore getting dressed and having cereal for breakfast. Next you try to talk me into letting you get hot lunch, some days I agree. Off to school to learn, play with friends, have lunch. I pick you up at the bus stop, the park, at around four and we play for a little while then walk home, have a little snack and do homework. Now dinner time followed by either soccer, family night, night with Dad, or hanging out and watching your favorite shows depending on which night it is. Prayers, scriptures, we read our story together, drinks of water and off to bed.

Happy Addie Day!!
Food: pizza and macaroni and cheese
Song: Viva la Vida by Coldplay
Color: Green
Show: Spongebob Squarepants
Friends: Peter and Taylor
Book: The Best Pet of All
Treat: Super Sour Spray
Well here is a day in the life of five year Addie Pace:

Wake up early. You firmly believe that the early bird catches the worm and strive to make EVERYONE in your life also adhere to this philosophy. Breakfast time, eggs or cereal. Get ready and brush your teeth, then play with Missy for a little while and it's off to school. Home in time for lunch at around noon. Chicken nuggets or a sandwich, upstairs please, so you can watch a little Spongebob or a movie from the library. Next play with toys a little or with Missy if she's up, maybe help Mom with whatever she's doing. Now it's off to the park to play and pick Noah up from the bus. Snacks and hang out with Noah. Then soccer, or family night, or bathtime, or a night with dad, depending on which day of the week it is. Hey, next relaxing and watching an episode of the Upside Down show with Noah, the scriptures, prayers, stories, and bed.
Hey Addie we love you lots and you add so much life, laughs, and energy into our lives!! Happy 5th birthday big guy.

Orange Slices
Noah was returning with the same team he has had from the beginning and Jason was coaching again this year. The Ratpits. Heh. They looked great out there and had a very fun time although the team they were up against looked like they were about ten
years old. This year they get to have goalies which was fun.
I wrangled Katie all morning, trying to keep her off the field in play. Once she realized she wasn't supposed to be on the field it was the only place she wanted to be. You know to run circles on it and lay down leisurely. She did think that Jason's new team bench made a lovely bed though and put that to good use.
So a wonderful sunny day full of soccer, with lots more games to follow. I think with two boys in soccer now it is definitely official. I am a soccer mom. Now to get the minivan.
