Laughs

While watching Batman tonight the bad guy is about to come on the screen and Addie whispers, "here comes the yolker."

A couple of nights ago Jason asked the kids if they could remember where he went on his mission:
Addie: Binaca
Noah: Maraca

Yesterday Katie told me, "I'm so proud of you Mama." I asked her why and she replied, "Because you have long hair like Rapunzel."

My little sister just had a baby and Adam overheard me talking with my mom about the doctor breaking her water. He was curious about it so I told him that babies stay in a sort of balloon full of fluid in their mommy's tummy. Then he got really excited and asked, "Is Aunt Michelle's baby going to be a MERMAID!?!"

Just Say No-- To Pants

This morning I put you in jeans. At first you were ok with it. I think you were planning on taking them off anyway to put on one of your dress-ups. Then I'm sure you remembered that you got them all taken away for failing to clean up your room and just dancing around instead (in what was undoubtedly an attempt to show me who was boss.) Upon realizing this you quickly came into my room, where I have been so busily trying to catch up on my editing, and threw a fit called, "But I wanna wear a DRESS!!" I think I'll just let you imagine how it all ended.

Against the Wind

I loved flying kites as a kid and of course my little ones do too. What is more fun than holding a kite string tight against the wind. It was a perfect day for it and we didn't even have to run to get them started, they just took right off. Towards the end Noah and Adam had "kite wars" seeing which one could take the other's down.

Nathan's Baptism & Easter in California

What a special baptism Nathan had, it was wonderful to be able to go and be a part of it! We are so proud and thrilled for him. Grandma made an Easter egg hunt and the kids had so much fun finding and opening their eggs. Grandmas are always just sweet like that, at least ours is. We stayed in Visalia for most of the week and had fun swimming, playing, exploring a BIG tree house and if your name is Noah...petting the cat Ginger. Jason flew home early because he had to work and I came later with the kiddos. I was surprised by how easy it was to fly with them by myself. My little ones are growing up!! It is exciting and sad all at once. I have more pictures to come, but haven't even made a dent in all the things that have to get done around here after my weekend away (more on that later!!)
