We have been having a really great weekend. The weather has been wonderful and we started our weekend early by taking off to the beach on Friday at noon. The kids love the beach so much. They could just play in the sand and water all day. When we got home we took the kids for a bike ride, our new favorite thing, and tried to find a cool path to the beach in our neighborhood. I won't go into details, but two injured boys and two bike crashes later we figured there really wasn't a good path down there. Katie loves her new seat on the back of Jason's bike. She now wears a cute pink panda bear helmet and always tells me it's "not a hat, a hel
met." Today we met up with Uncle Mike, Aunt Melissa, and Becks for some fun and another afternoon at the beach. We loved it and had a great time laughing and playing in the sand. On the way home we stopped at DQ to get ice creams and as the kids were worn out and happily licking their cones in the back Jason said, "there's nothing more fun than having a car full of happy kids." I agree. We came home just in time for pizza and a movie and then three very tired children crawled into bed. The weather is supposed to stay sunny and the weekend's not over yet. Life is good.
