Cousins

How fun are cousins?! My kids love hanging out with their cousins and it is always a really treat when my sis and her kids come in the summer. We always have so much to do and not enough time to do it! Look they rode an elephant! Too fun. We won't soon forget Circus Gatti and Grant, "me no like that guy." He spoke for all of us!

We were so sad to say goodbye to our other cousins!! Mike and Melissa and the boys left for Colorado and we will miss them a bunch!! This is us at the airshow on McChord before they left. 

Summer Fun

O What do we do in the summertime when all the world is green? We go to the beach-

We play at the park-

We got to the movies-

We rollerskate-

We swing-

We hang out with friends-

We ride our scooters-

We go to the zoo with cousins-

We play card games till late-

We go for walks with grandparents-

Outdoor concerts-

Make raspberry jam-

Mini-golf-

Ride the ferry to the swimming hole. And lots more. We love summertime!

Happy Fourth of July

Happy Fourth of July! We had a great day- perfect weather, food, and company. We started out our day by marching with the Dupont ward in the city's fourth of July parade. It was lots of fun to be with the whole ward- so many people turned out to make it a big crowd of us! Then we went to the Freedom Fest on Fort Lewis and had some food, rode some rides, and watched some interesting performers! We capped it all of by BBQing with family at Mom and Dad's house. Of course Jason did his fireworks and it was a wonderful holiday. We love the fourth!

Little Graduate

The cutest preschooler ever is all done and ready for the big times. Her teacher said she was an exceptional artist and she was someone who always used kind words and hands and was a friend to everyone in school. She said when she grows up she wants to be a mommy. She is a sweet one!

Anna is born- and we visit!

Little Anna! You are so sweet and we were so happy that we got to come down and welcome you in person.It was so fun to hold you and play with you. Katie was in heaven. Katie and I got to stay for a week and play. It was great to be with my sister and spend time with her cute kids! Anna is a little sweetheart!

Green Hornets

Green Hornets are back at bat and Adam means business. He loves his baseball. He is a great little player and is batting fourth in the order, which is clean-up if you know anything about baseball and is a really important spot! Jason goes to all his games and practices and they have a fun time together. I know Jason is thrilled to have Adam be so into baseball, his favorite sport! For every hit Adam gets in a game- Jason rewards him with a pack of baseball cards. It's working...! Their team ended up winning the championship! Amazing!
 

Some Highlights

We went to Utah for Jason's Grandma Ruth's 80 birthday party. I am sad that we don't have a picture of the birthday girl herself, but trust me that she is a wonderful and lovely lady that we all think the world of and love very much. Her party was at a fun complex where there were all kinds of games, ropes course, mini golf, anything fun! We did lots of swimming in the hotel pool and of course stopped by BYU to pick up t shirts and check out the newly finished library.

We went to the Demolition Derby and ate a giant greasy fry brick at the fair. Yum...fries!

I got to go to Time Out for Women with the Pace girls and had an amazing time. The weekend was really uplifting and inspiring and a great time to hang out with the girls away from the kiddos.
