The Doll House

So some friends of mine had a little party to make these lovely dolls, so cute!! The party was great and I made a cute little doll for Katie, but if anyone knows me they know when I hear or see a good idea I do it.......then I over-do it!! Here are the darling little dolls I've been making this week for my little nieces. Every time I finish a new one, Katie wants it. She wishes they were all for her.

What's New with the Fellas

Those of you reading the blog may be wondering Where's Noah?? I haven't blogged about him for a while. Well he is doing good. He is working hard. He is as sweet as ever. Here are some pictures of him and his brother playing at the park. Sandwiches at the park. What could be better on a Saturday. Never mind that it's freezing, there's no rain coming down. They are such sweet boys. Last night for movie night we watched The Princess Bride. Addie loved the "inconceivable" part. We should be hearing that for a while. He also told me while we were watching and Wesley was "mostly dead" that, "you're dead when your heart stops beeping."
Noah & I just finished reading "Because of Winn-Dixie" which we loved. The book is about a dog, of course, and a little girl whose mother left her and her dad when she was little. She is always missing her mom and wondering if she'll come back. When we had just a couple chapters left I asked Noah what he thought was going to happen. He said, "All stories have to have happy endings so I think her mom will come back." He is growing up so fast, but is still so innocent and sweet. In the end the mom doesn't come back, of course, but the girl is happy and connected to her dad and friends. We finished and Noah said, "what kind of ending was that?"
Alright here she is. I couldn't resist posting just one of her little face.

Sunday Bear

Now that Jason sits on the stand during Sacrament meeting I have had to be a little more creative with the things I bring for the kids to play with on Sunday. Grandma to the rescue with this little gem......Katie loves this bear. The heads, outfits, and shoes can be changed many ways and they all fit into a tidy little box. Tons of fun during Sacrament meeting right when we need it. Thanks so much Grandma!! (as a side note Katie will only put the happy face on the bear, she does not want the bear to be sad, sick, sleeping, etc. ... so funny.)

Till Next Time

On Stephy's last day we went down to the rocky beach with the kids. We didn't last too long, it was so very cold out. We got to take a couple of pictures, and we got to see the train go by. We had so much fun with Steph and her kids, we will miss her so much!!! For more rocky beach pictures.....click here

Addie & Evy

Adam & Evy are such great playmates!! Steph & I always hoped our kids would be good friends. Now if only Evy didn't live so far away. Addie is sure going to miss Evy when she heads back to Brooklyn tomorrow.

Cindy-Lou Who

Jason...I took these for you sweetie!

All the Way from NYC

My sister and her kids have been here visiting for the past couple of weeks and we have been having the best time!! Addie and Evy get along so well and are the perfect playmates. Meanwhile Dane and Katie are more tentative about each other, as in, "no, I won't share my grammy with you." I am confident though that by her next visit they will be ready, or almost ready to play together. Of course it is so great for me to have Stephy here to hang out with, talk to, learn from, and definitely laugh with. Last night at dinner Jason was asking everyone how their day was and what they did. Noah and Adam said they went to school, then Adam said, "mom just played with Aunt Stephy all day." I will really miss her when she leaves this week.
